VASTUSHASTRA … misconceptions and blind believes…!

It’s been close to two years that I have blogged; this was the time I was introspecting and learning new areas of Quantum world / Metaphysics / Para science and questioning “WHY” for most of the unanswered questions, especially the remedies. No doubt the remedies work, but WHY and HOW… what is the science and logic behind it kept me busy researching. Now I am convinced, researched various case studies and spoke to many a people who have seen visible impact.

One the key take away from my study in the last two years is people falling in trap due to lack of knowledge / wisdom coupled with MISCONCEPTION and BLIND FAITH that creates fear and get pulled into the vicious circle of various so called remedies causing more harm than good.

Firstly, directions play a vital role in VASTU, let’s understand how to find direction; this is sometimes confusing when we are not using the magnetic compass. Stand before Raising Sun, that is the East i.e.., you are viewing East direction, now at your back will be West direction, left hand side is North and right hand side is the South direction. If you have a compass, its easy, EAST is 90⁰, WEST is 270⁰, North is 0⁰ or 360⁰, South is 180⁰. We have four more directions and they are NORTHEAST 45⁰, SOUTHEAST 135⁰, SOUTHWEST 225⁰, and NORTHWEST 315⁰.

Each of the directions have a preceding deity, 

EAST is ruled by INDRA the king of demigods 

NORTH is ruled by KUBERA the treasurer of demigods

SOUTH is ruled by YAMA the lord of death

WEST is ruled by VARUNA the lord of Rain/Water

NORTHEAST is ruled by EASHWARA … lord Shiva, the most powerful god among the trinity … 

NORTHWEST by the demigod VAYU the lord of Wind, 

SOUTHEAST by AGNI the lord of Fire 

SOUTHWEST by Nairti is said to be the Chief of Demons. Often shown riding on a Donkey, a Lion or a Man and surrounded by demons and seven apsaras. Some refer this direction to Demoness Putna and few also simply call this Rakshasha Corner. 

Let’s STOP here, and question… HOW and WHY are these gods named with directions, what is the science behind this, do demigods really exist, what the rational our ancestors preached us this way, there is a difference between VEDAS and PURANAS, the vedas don’t describe god like the way PURANAS do… the UPANISHADs have a very different , is god is all powerful and he always takes care of you why follow such things… one humour often told is we INDIANS pray GOD with mantras … the language we don’t understand, when asked, jokingly one said so what if we don’t understand, GOD understands… well, that’s not what I want as an answer, and I’m sure lot of you who are reading are not convinced why some things are followed … there definitely is a scientific reason but due to lack of proper knowledge transition from our ansistors to us we have lost it. Many a vastu books that I read tell the outcome but fail to explain the rational … for example don’t place kitchen in north or north east, it will burn your cash and you will face troubles it’s the corner for GOD and Puja room should be there… is KITCHEN not a place of worship… don’t we Hindus worship the Rice… it’s called ANNABRAHMA… and the maker of rice ANNAPOORNA… often you would have observed people calling your wife / mother an incarnation of ANNAPOORNA after having a good meal … then why this misconception… similarly there are many other things that are been told and advised to do and not to do…

One other thing we should note, if one veiws above the earths pysical plane, North and South are fixed axis while East and West are reletive, earth rotates on its own axis. Vedic concept focuses on earth being the center and all other starts / planets rotating around it. While Heliocentic astrology calculates from Sun as center and earth as a celestial body. Vastu too needs to be seen from this angle. Dont blindly consider east and west as fixed points, see from the spatial dimension too.  

Per my research, I can conclude VASTU is more of ENERGY and  ENERGY balance and is UNIQUE… remember this phrase UNIQUE TO EVERY INDIVIDUAL, Vastu consulting should not be done unless you see a Horoscope of the person., Astrology and Vastu go hand in hand, based on the positions of the planets that resonate with ones blueprint (Kundli) and the movement of the planets that impact a biorhythm the Vastu should be aligned and suggestion be given to the individual. Go back and check all those people who have kept a Puja room in the east direction, are they Happy… or those who cook in the NorthEast direction unhappy… no… definitely not… there are various nullifying factors that come into picture. One should carefully analyze all positives and negetives before recommending a change … I had a person who told me he spent more than INR 3 Lakhs to renovate his living room and changed the door from west to north as per advice given by some Vastu expert, he took a loan and ended up repaying the EMIs for almost 2 years, and there is no visible improvement in what so every lifestyle … in fact his life before was well to do and was much healthy compared to now…

I happened to read his horoscope and also of his wife, going thru that realized he is a LIBRAN and so his wife too, his daughter is also a Libran and Son’s zodiac Gemini with this combination a WEST Facing home is absolutely blissfull and he would have faced more comfort in a west facing home than that of the current renovation… this is only one such example… there are many more…

Some of the most common misconceptions I have researched are…

-      

            - EAST is auspicious, and main door should always face east, otherwise you will lack peace and prosperity. Go back and research, how many people have doors in other directions, are they not prosperous. Remember one rule does not apply to all…

-          Planting Trees in the WEST and not in the EAST… in fact planting trees in the EAST is more beneficial, the morning sunrays are good not only for the human but also for the trees… its scientifically proven

-          Kitchen should be in East … this is one of the very big misconceptions… in the olden days women did not go out of home in sunlight, and this was a preferred way for them to get the Vitamin D.

-          Vastu plays a very vital role and is connected to religion is another misconception, Vastu is not limited only for Hindus… it’s a common principle of energy balance, beyond directions its about connecting with the five elements (Air, Water, Earth, Space and Fire)

-          Study in the East direction to increase grasping power is another misconception, you can study in any direction, people preferred east in olden days due to sunlight and usually the Gurukul systems … children faced east seeing raising sun which is more soothing. This will also avoid the shadow of the child to fall on the book / material he/she used to study upon.

-          Money should be kept in Northeast, well, this misconception rose due to widely preached philosophy of keeping puja in the northeast and the safest / sacred place where people will not try to steal from.

-          8 directions form vastu is a the most known myth or misconception, Vastu is not about 8 directions, vastu is about energy balance, cosmic rays, vastu is science, vastu is beyond 8 directions, its actually 64 dimensions that needs to be studied along with 12 Zodiacs, 27 Nakshatras and 9 Planets (according to Vedic astrology), vastu also is about Numbers and Numerology plays a very vital role, Vastu also is about physiognomy, its mysterious occult science coupled with quantum theories and principles of mathematics going beyond the earthrl plane into the astral world.

-          Vastu in my opinion is about connecting your DNA with the BIORHYTHM of the given place to ensure you take right decisions which will impact your HEALTH, WEALTH, PEACE, PROSPERITY and overall WELLNESS

Know the future … gazing at the mirror

Mirror gazing is an ancient art that then replaced by gazing at a crystal ball to know the future or communicated with a soul either on a higher astral plane or a departed soul or an angel etc…

I did try gazing to the mirror for almost three full hours and got some glimpses of few future events unfolding my way. It all started accidently, I was actually sitting idle and was looking at the mirror and suddenly felt some reflections in the mirror, when I looked back to see them in the room did not find them, I continued to watch at the mirror as these reflections become brighter and clearer. It was then started to research about this more and more and now often when I’m in a relaxed state look into the mirror.

It’s not that easy, one can be frightened if he/she sees some reflections that are uncomfortable, people who I spoke to warned me not to make it a habit to gaze at the mirror often. Especially on new moon days or full moon days, during eclipse, during any natural calamity or especially in the dark its always better not to look at the mirrors.

Fengshui practitioners ask you to cover the mirror with a white cloth before you go to bed. Mirrors absorb energy that is in your home, which could be good energy or negative energy, there is always something going on, some of the very old scriptures and book of shadows have quoted that there is a parallel world similar to the one we live on the other side of the mirror and is opposite in nature. What is good omen for you is a bad omen on for the souls who dwell on the on the other side of the mirror.

How to communicate with the souls on the other side of the mirror, do they live there or are the some kind of disturbed souls who have departed this worlds and have still not crossed over, are these the souls and angels or some kind of nonhumans who are situated in different astral planes, I have still not got the answers about them. Is it really true what I saw and felt or is it that I am drowsing out and hallucinating and daydreaming because I am looking at the mirror for a long time, not sure either. There was an exorcist who asked me if while traveling long distance alone in the night have I ever stopped the car and gazed at the rear view mirror, and what did I see, well… I have not done any such thing before because I only look at the rear view mirror in while driving in the night for less than 10-15 seconds to see if there is any vehicle behind me or if someone behind my car signals with a dipper to give way. Nonetheless he added don’t ever try, you may see some disturbed souls or nonhuman reflections on your back seat, or just behind your car especially if you are driving in a non-populated highway.

So what exactly is mirror gazing and what happens if you look at the mirror for a long time?

It’s something like this, after getting into a relaxed state and start looking into a mirror from a comfortable chair. You would be at an angle where you can't see your own reflection. It is here that many people, it has been documented have actually seen, heard, felt, smelt or touched dearly departed loved ones and few have shared experiences of seeing the future event, knowing what happens tomorrow, my very own experience I saw a gap up opening on the charts of Infosys when the entire analyst community was talking Infosys stock to be under the bear market clutches and it did have a gap up opening in a couple of days after I saw this reflection on the mirror.

Google around this topic and you can find testimonies where few people have shared instances that they have seen some images that are very fearful and awkward reflections of near death experiences.

Things required to start Mirror Gazing…

1.       Candle

2.       Relaxing Chair

3.       Large mirror something like a dressing table mirror

4.       Switch on the FAN so that it produces white noise and stop from other noise distractions

5.       Quite environment and Dark Room (One can chose the late hours of the night to mirror gaze)

Steps to follow in Mirror Gazing

ü  Set up a mirror and get a chair to sit on in an angle where your image is not visible in the mirror

ü  Switch off all lights in your room and light the candle

ü  After lighting the candle, put it behind you to provide indirect filtered lightening

ü  Turn on the fan to create white noise, this white noise will block out all outside distracting noises and assist you entering a meditative state or a state of trance.

ü  Breathe comfortably and when you begin to feel relaxed start gazing into the mirror.

ü  Do not attempt to directly center your eyes on anything.

ü  Allow your own psychic intuition to take hold of you and have faith in the process you follow. The more you practice mirror gazing, the more efficient you will become at learning how to identify your own psychic visions and information.

The Mystic world of Gem Stones…

It’s been close to 15 years now that I am studying various parapsychological phenomenon’s and a few years before my interest in Gems grew stronger and stronger.., Throughout history many different cultures have considered gemstones to be imbued with different healing and mystical properties…, while not every gemstone suits every one there are few of these stones that will need no astrological inputs or any horoscope analysis to be done before wearing one…

1.  NAVRATHNA: Top of the Chart is the Navrathna Stones … the 9 stone setting of all planets can be worn in Gold as a pendent or a finger ring.

2.  EMERALD: One of my most favorite one is Emerald, I run short of words when I talk about them, let me share a quick folklore about this gemstone…, it so happened once there were a few businessmen carrying some precious gemstones and gold along with them in a ship were sailing from one city to another, and were caught in a sea storm and the ship wrecked, none of the passengers survived except the one who was carrying with him a bag full of emeralds. Emerald enhances psychic abilities, opens clairvoyance, and stimulates the use of greater mental capacity and above all it has the ability to save one from unknown dangers.

There was a very close friend of mine who was in his bad times facing lot of troubles in business, not that very happy with his family life, frustrated and in a very bad shape.., I sourced a very nice quality Emerald and got him to wear in his Left hand little finger and in as less as few weeks he won the court case, his properties gave him good returns, he inherited a large sum of money and jewelry… people who are critics and nonbelievers will call this a coincidence but I strongly believe it was the power of this gemstone which resonated the cosmic energies  bringing the favors to the one who wears this gem.

3.  DIAMOND:  The only gemstone composed of one pure element, CARBON, and the only gemstone that is capable to enhance your sexual energy and drive passions wild… costliest and simply magnanimous, astrologically this stone is related to VENUS… the pleasure planet, one who wears diamonds will rule the world says one of the myth…, its not the diamonds that we wear … to see the actual power of diamond one should wear a large diamond stone with Blue Sapphire and Emerald not less than 15 CARATS.. yes you read it right… my research says for Diamonds to give results that you expect should be one tenth of double the weight in CARTS of your body weight… for Eg: if you weight is say 75 Kgs… you should wear a diamond for 15 Carats…, say if you are 60 Kgs… then it will be 60 * 2 = 120, 120/10 = 12 Carats. and so on.., the closest replacement of Diamond is an OPAL… but a Diamond is a Diamond forever and no gem can give you the results that a diamond can give.  

The scriptures say one should aim for DHARMA… ARTHA… KAMA..  & MOKSHA in this lifespan while Emerald is a stone to satisfy the ARTHA (Economy, Business, Money, etc…) and DIAMOND is a stone for KAMA (Desires, Passion, Love, Sex, Pleasure of flesh and blood etc…)

My interests took one more step ahead to understand more about the gemstone, and was I discovered is the time one takes birth his destiny is written but there is something beyond destiny called the freewill. Overall reading of an horoscope will let us know how ones lifespan is planned ahead and based on his/her good and bad karmas one will get the results in the form of happiness or despair, luxury or poverty, power or humiliation, good intellect or poor judgment,  loveable relationship or life filled with quarrels… To combat the negative effects based on the planet placement there are scriptures that recommend gemstones which have these mysterious powers to ward off the ill effects such as litigations, lack of jobs, misfortune in business, social disrespect, lack of progeny etc…

Vengeance is mine...

80% of the people to whom you tell your problems are not bothered about it and the rest 20% are happy that you have them… ha ha ha…

You have gone thru a lot of despairs, agony and mental trauma. You take refuge in the law and justice is delayed indefinitely…

Not sure if god listens to you… may be he is bound in the stone and is confined to the temples and churches pampered by the devotional songs, carols and offerings of his devotees…

Another set of so called preachers and prophets talk to you about the karma theory

Counselors listen to you and recite many more stories of people who have suffered more than you which make you feel for that moment that your pain is less than others…

You are helpless… but still want to avenge…

Wrong is done to you… and you want to avenge…

 You have a family man and you are afraid of your foe… and you still want to avenge…

You are afraid of taking law in your hands… and you still want to avenge…

You have a positive image in the society… and you still want to avenge…

You cannot forgive and want to avenge…

You cannot forget and want to avenge…

You and Your loved ones are hurt… and you want to avenge…

Now go on listing and you will get an infinite reason for vengeance…

Fall back to the folklores and mythologies and there are numerous instances where circumstances have forced people to punish the wrong and satisfied their vengeance, sometimes reading between the lines we need to ask question is the one who is punished or lost the battle was really wrong or was less powerful than the one who won the battle…

Every second Bollywood movie has a plot of vengeance, turn on the television and look at the crime story… every story of the one who has done wrong has a past to this, we often look at the victim but have we looked at the circumstance, society may call it a crime of passion, greed etc… but what gave raise to this… why does this actually happen… we all go thru circumstances that sometimes are intolerable but due to various other reasons we don’t end up committing the crime, this made me think and I went one step ahead to understand if the placement of planets make us commit crimes… and here is what I was able to infer…

1.       Crime of passion is extremely high during the Full Moon / New Moon days

2.       Accidents and Murders usually on a New Moon day

3.       Rahu in 4th, which has an aspect by Mars in Antecedent and Saturn in 7th, indicates revengeful behavior of the native.

4.       If the lord of antecedent is week the native may carry thoughts of revenge

5.       Saturn in Leo antecedent , Mars in Libra and Jupiter in 12^th will make a person seek revenge and he/she will plot the vengeance very tactfully and be able to get uncaught

6.       According to Saravali Chapter 15, Sh 2, the combination of Mars and Sun in any sign will make the native carry thoughts of revenge that can lead to an extent of murder

7.       For sure if Sun and Mars are in ones antecedent with less than one degree of each other the native will carry vengeance

8.       As per the Jataka Parijat the native if born in an Atiganda yoga will seek revenge / murder

9.       Dwadashamsha  owned by scorpio combination makes a the native master of rouges and robbers as per the Jataka Paritaj

10.   If Jupiter is debilitated and gets an aspect by a debilitated planet, the native will commit crime

11.   When debilitated Jupiter or Sun occupy kendra, conjunction with malefic

14.   If Sun and Moon are in Antecedent  and conjunct with Mercury, the native becomes aggressive and impulsive

15.   Lord of second house is conjoined with Saturn and Mars the native will be revengeful

Looking at various scriptures, interacting with learned people what I was able to reach as a conclusion was Moon, Mars, Saturn and Mercury are the planets that cause behavior issues, moon rules mind and mercury the nervous system, mars and Saturn cause impulsive and aggressive nature.

While I was studying various planets I got attracted to Rahu and Ketu, crimes of Occult nature that include Witchcraft, Voodoo, Yantra, Mantra and Tantra etc… are very strong with people who have Ketu in an Ati-Shatru relationship with most of the planets in the horoscope.

It is believed that Black Magic is done using your photo, clothes, hair, nails or touching your body or looking straight into your eyes. Of all the people I have met and looked at their horoscopes or understood their issues they quite often than not have been victims of black magic.

Very seldom we can in today’s era find the strong rituals of witchcraft being practiced, quite a few claim to be powerful and have attained siddhis to create harm to someone, but the ones that I have observed are pretty easy tricks that people do to cause harm to someone… Like for example, one of the scriptures says if you feed someone with ash of the dead on a new moon day in a specific nakshatra and specific antecedent the   native will suffer due to the spell casted on him/her.

Most of the cases that I have seen have one pretty common theme, parents of the boy or girl get some spells casted so that they stop dating each other and not elope or marry each other but listen to the parents wish.

In some cases the mother-in-law or the daughter-in-law gets some spells casted, some cases when there is business enmity people get spells casted to cause harm to someone’s business, throwing a pigs tooth in the foundation of the house under construction will cause troubles to the inmates and in some villages to spoil the crop such a spells get casted.

Now how does this happen and effect a human…, the evil eye, spell, craft, blackmagic, voodoo, or chanting mantras etc.. are all some form of energy, and this is used in a negative way that impacts the person concerned.

There are few nefarious practices that I did read and came across, this is much common is some parts of north India and Kerala who practice the maran tantra, the nefarious use of black magic that can make the inmate get a lot of negative thoughts and also in some cases commit suicide.

Few days before it was a news on the television and also in the local newspapers that spells are being casted on the Ex-CM of Karnataka to pull him down from power… may be … may be not… but the CM is no more in power, is it due to black magic or other reasons, not sure. The fun with this occult science is there is no statistical evidence to prove it works a 100%, its all the set of people who believe and who don’t believe… just like the theory of god and evil … you have these theories much propellant.

Usually people with Week moon / mercury in aspect of Rahu/Ketu are often at ease to be subjected to such spells, quite often the spells casted are very active if a natives chart has such a transit phase where planetary strengths are weak.

As the attacks continue the victim is torn down on multiple levels; gets bed ridden and eventually dies of no apparent medical reason. While I was convinced with the above symptoms after a long long debate and quest for knowledge and evidence, I did spend few years to study and understand how these acts are performed and how can one by looking at the horoscope understand if the subject is gone thru black magic or an evil eye casted on him /her or is the issues the subject is facing are due to planetary transits /combinations or past karmas.

There are ways to ward off the evil eye with some rituals and astrological remedies, more or less these remedies suggested in Vedic astrology are metaphysical in nature, they try to work against the negative energy and help the victim ware an invisible protection of energy field that protect the aura and creates a log of positive energy which is constantly charged and the negative effects are eliminated. This is the war between the good and evil, often the evil wins, yes… the evil wins… in today’s world the vengeance is so strong that people have evolved various nefarious ways to harm an individual.

People blame that the remedies don’t work… it’s not the remedies but the faith in them… , what I understood with more and more study in this subject is… the victim is already living a Stressful life, add to it the evil eye, and vengeance, black magic, bad transits, lack of planetary power, less inclination towards spirituality and many more makes a person week and prone to easy attacks of the evil eye… Over life is already stressed due to various days to day factors and add up the vengeance and use of black magic … will the good win over evil … I doubt …!

Many of you after reading my previous blog about making money when Mars is in 16’ 35” degrees told me that can we make money only once in 50 - 60 days depending on the Mars cycle and if mars is retrograde we will have to wait for months together for this equation to occur… let me now write about moon and following the moon if you short or go long on Nifty or simply markets you can make money once in every 15 days...

Being a six sigma professional this has become an imbibed attribute in me to look at the data and either reject or accept the hypothesis. While I was studying various planets Moon held my fascination, this is the quickest in the entire zodiac. It completes two rotations across all 12 houses in the horoscope twice in a period of 30 days. Once in 15 days comes the Full moon and once in 15 days is the New Moon.

We all are studying since childhood about tides on new moon and full moon days… what we have learnt is during the school days is when Moon Earth and Sun are in Line the Tides occur. Taking the learning let’s look at the hypothesis below and collect some data from Jan 2011 to Dec 2011.

“Markets tend to go up on New Moon Days and Markets tend to go down on Full Moon Days”
Below table shows the results…, this theory does not work on Tuesdays, if the New moon occurs on a Tuesday this hypothesis does not work, On Jan 4th & 2nd May you will see the hypothesis going against you. The Markets will go red instead of green if full moon or new moon is on Tuesday; I will share with you why this happens some time later in the next articles…

The Trader should short the market a day before the Full moon and go Long or Buy the Nifty Futures one day before the New Moon to be profitable. I have tried this many a times successfully … Suggest to pick atleast 500 stocks of Nifty Futures (10 Lots) ...
