KANIVE MUTTHURAYA SWAMY TEMPLE … a boon for childless couples…

Kanive Mutturaya swamy - Lord Hanuman

Temples have always played a central role in Indian society. One of the most less know fact is the temples serve as powerful energy centers. Based upon a deep understanding of the inner energies of the human chakra system, the temples were built in order to recharge one with energy when he or she is either feeling low physically or any of the inner organ in the human body is not functioning to the fullest potential and lacks the required energy to deliver the desired results.

I remember when I was a kid my grandparents always taught me that when I visit a temple I should sit silently for a little while. Offering worship or prayers are not considered paramount but, if I were to leave the temple without sitting down for some time, the entire visit is considered fruitless…

Through Physics and Spiritualties combined it has been proven that everything is Energy, vibrations are personalized depending on the life form… Energy is also viewed as being a cosmic living multi-faceted force, composed of a wave/particle embodiment, enabling the potential for anything interacting with it to transmit & receive information, ultimately the enablement of creating structure and form for our universe. Vibration is energy in motion. Frequency is the rate at which an atom vibrates at, thus higher vibration means higher capacity for energy & information.

You will surely observe a very high energy and vibrations especially in ancient temples, people often have believes that that visiting some ancient shrines and old temples fulfill their desires and grant them wishes and things fall in place for them… could be health, wealth, good fortune etc… simply fall their way and what you will read further is one such place is the MUTTURAYA SWAMY TEMPLE which is less famous but carries enough powers / energy / vibration etc… to benefit a childless couple and grant them the boon of begetting a kid.

Story related to this temple …

According to a legend, Sita, the wife of Lord Rama, misplaced her nose ring in the Cauvery river. She was bathing in the river and the nose ring slipped out and fell. Sita was very attached to the nose ring and she was particular about getting it back. Hanuman looked for the ring and could not find it. He thought the ring might have fallen into the Cauvery and he began churning the river from his tail, the nose ring soon re-appeared on top of the swirling waters. Hanuman took the ring reverentially and handed it back to Sita…, the nose ring was made of pearl, and Peral in Sanskrit is called “Muttu”, and so the name of Lord Hanuman is “Mutturaya Swamy”.

The local priest told this story to me and also told people who visit this temple get their desires fulfilled and especially desires of begetting children….
There is another story on the origin of this temple, a folk of cows used to come here to feed, over a period of time of all the cows one of the did not yield any milk and The cowherd investigating the cause, followed the cow and discovered the cow feeding lord Hanuman, amazed with this incident, he shares the story with the villagers, it is also believed that Lord hanuman did converse with the cowherd and asked for a place to reside here permanently and then the villagers built the temple.

Ritual followed….

Once you reach the place the first step is to go to the temple tank “Kalyani” and take bath, taking bath at this temple tank and drinking water from this Kalyani as per the localities who I spoke with told has miraculous power of rejuvenating the reproductive organs, strengthen the semen count or some kind of power which helps the couples….
Though the power of this water is not tested at any scientific lab … the faith that people carry works the wonders…

Post which you can cook food (Prasadam) at the kitchen place behind the temple that you wish to offer to the lord. You may also wish to carry the food prepared at home and that can be directly taken along with you to the main temple of Mutturayaswamy and offer pooja. After the darshan and pooja do visit another small temple of Bootharaya Swamy, he was the assistant to lord hanuman when he stayed here.
