Price goes down after I buy and goes up after I sell…

“Price of the stock goes down after I buy and goes up after I sell” … this is the most common statement I have come across from most of the traders I have spoken with… in fact I too have experienced the same. In addition to this when you recommend the stock to someone it goes up but you have not purchased it… and you end up buying something else which will go down.

And then I did spend some time analyzing why this kind of phenomena occurs, is it only with me, in fact most of the people face this, contrary to this belief there are few people who have things going all their way, they blindly pick a few stocks and it goes up, they sell and then the stock come down, what I did next was spent some time at my brokers place to see what these people do. Few of the traits I found in the people who lose money trading are as follows…

They analyze a lot, in fact talk to them…they would have done a Ph.D. on the stock

After all the research and analysis… they don’t trust themselves and pick a scrip that the broker recommends or follow some news on the TV and trade for the day

These set of people lack concentration and lose focus very soon

They buy a scrip and get extremely stressed out if it goes against them and wait / pray for the price to come up

These people cut their profits soon and hold on to their loss for ever

They are in love with the scrip and figure out every reason to hold it although its making losses

They are very good in communication and excellent analysts, but very poor in execution., making up their mind and taking decisions are the most difficult tasks

Lack of commitment during market hours and then bubble with ideas post market.

On the other hand People who make money trading have the following traits…

Quick decision making, fearless and clear thinking

Action oriented and always on their toes

Stick to the plan and tremendous focus

Accuracy and maintain detailed records of their own trades

Continuously update their knowledge and do limited research of their own, they don’t listen to rumors, suggestions and so called tips from any one

While these are the traits … lets understand which planets influence such traits, which aspects gives rise to such traits and what transits are involved in such behavior demonstrated by the trader.

This is very important because not always the trader is on a losing side he is also winning trades, the same person demonstrates all the above traits this clearly indicates that the trader under the influence of good planets behaves positively and the same trader when under the influence of negative aspects behaves differently.

The chart below shows the houses and the relevance of each house; clearly we should consider House number 2, 5, 8, 9, 11 and 12 to understand the influence of the position of the planets, transits and aspects on the traders’ behavior.

6th, 8th and 12th houses are dushsthana or evil houses. 3rd, 6th, 8th or 12th are known as hidden houses. 1st, 4th, 7th and the 10th houses are angles or Kendras.1st, 5th and 9th houses are Trikona or Trines. 2nd, 5th, 8th and 11th houses are Panaphara. 3rd, 6th, 9th and 12th are Apoklima. 3rd, 6th, 10th and 11th houses are Upachaya or Increasing houses. 4th and 8th are Chatusara houses.
