Often the above claims are made by many villagers who will tell you stories for hours together in the villages of India… on hearing these stories I got a little more anxious to understand how is BANAMATI performed… is it really true and so on. At the foot of Chamundi Hills of Mysore city some 14kms if you travel towards JP Nagar I met a person named Basavashetty pretty famous person refered by locals as Basappa, he is no more now, I rather call him Late Basavashetty. He was a trustworthy person and pretty learned often ready to help people using his astro occult knowledge and did not expect or demand money, what ever you felt like giving him he used to accept as donation… he asked me to meet after 9:00 PM on Saturday and he will speak to me in leisure. I happened to meet me, I was alone and was afraid too… he strictly instructed no cameras or voice recorders it will be a one to one conversation… it took a pretty long time and a lot of efforts for me to get him in a comfort zone and build enough rapport with him to get to a platform of discussion and did tell him if he can teach me this art of using astro occult powers etc.. and the intention will be to help folks who are actually looking for help.. or are in trouble because some one has caused harm to them using the occult energy.

So… my intrest was to learn what really is BANAMATI… and how is it performed ?

This is one other tool a tantric carries who using the powers of this knowedge and energy can cause trouble to his enemy in various ways… often three things happen… one who approaches the tantric gives him the address and details of the home, name, photograph or the person, and a few other things generally a cloth or slippers etc… the tantric then on a No Moon Day (Aamavas) its interesting most of these black arts are preformed in the absence of the moon…, he uses a very simple procedure and the result is one of the three… either a fire in your enemies home, or falling of stones and dust in your enemies home or some sort of illness in this home…, what Basappa showed me was how to light fire without using any physical means but the your very own power. Well in a nutshell BANAMATI is a dangerous act performed to get some sort of revenge on your enemy… I did try but was unsuccessful to light the fire ... it needs a lot of practice and meditation to build and raise energy to an extent that the heat is transfered from you to the object and the object is in flames...

I believe it should take not more than few months of practice to start using the powers of your mind to move things… now don’t use it for nefarious purpose like using a knife to automatically move with enough force that will harm your subject… I have not tried it ... just practiced it for a couple of days and did not get time in this busy schedule from work to home and family and so on... but folks who have enough determination and patiance may try ... in theroy all is possible... soem one like a Bassapa with 40-50 years of practice at the age of 70+ may be able to achieve this... neither I have time nor interest to do it practically.. but its interesting to know that what we call as black macic or astro occult phenomina is actualy a parapsychological science or a metaphysical phenomina that occurs...
